Community Engagement:
Just as the Street Academy engages with students, community involvement is crucial for successful landscaping solutions. Encourage residents, local businesses, and organizations to participate in shaping their environment. Promote neighborhood watch Programs
Education and Awareness
To learn Oakland City’s Municipal code. Once they have the understanding of the ordinance through the landscaping lens. They will do walk through and cite the code in violation with a warning and a 5 day grace to address the issue at hand. If fail by 7th day a fine of $1000 will be issue. $5 increase for each business day the fine isn’t pay. We anticipate creating solution to address ordinance & Municipal code
Financial Education
The student issuing the fine will earn 30% that will go in a restricted saving account until they graduate from high school. Having these funds available right into adult hood not only is a head start opportunity. They learn the importance & benefits of responsible saving.

Ensure that landscaping efforts benefit all residents, regardless of socioeconomic status. Prioritize underserved neighborhoods and involve diverse voices in decision-making.

Enforcement through Education
Rather than relying solely on police officers, consider training our high school students with landscaping skill to enforce municipal codes related to landscaping. They are require to immediately inform their house hold if any code is in violation. Is so they will learn skills that will teach them the many ways to fundraise the cost to address violation. They are encourage to be creative in terms of fundraising but that only if their household violates any code. The default method they will learn to fundraised is sending out latter of sponsorship to city officials across the United State and whom else they wish to send the request to.
Beautification and Safety
Enhance public spaces by planting trees, flowers, and maintaining clean sidewalks. Well-maintained landscapes discourage vandalism and criminal activity.
